The district Hirzbrunnen, in which the Schoren site is situated, is a quiet residential district surrounded by nature: The two local recreational areas Eglisee and Lange Erlen are within walking distance, while at the same time, it is very well connected with public transport.
In the year 2006, Burckhardt+Partner won the urban development competition for the Schoren site. The land-use plan drawn up on this basis envisaged two high-rise buildings for parcel C, but did not come into effect until 2012. The building application for two buildings with heights of 51 m and 57 m was submitted in December 2013.
The two buildings have a mirrored design: The four apartments on each floor (three on the top floors) are accessed via a central core. The apartments range in size from 2½ to 4½ rooms. With an open floor plan, every one of the spacious apartments has a recessed balcony. Large windows with low sills guarantee a magnificent view of the surroundings. Parquet floors with underfloor heating, high-quality kitchen equipment and built-in closets at the entrance round off the interior fit-out.
