Research & Education
On the Brandenburg University of Technology campus in Cottbus, this new traffic engineering hall structure was built for Faculty 3. The building comprises two main halls and a connecting central area. Two T-pieces, which look monolithic, form the load-bearing structure for the two halls. Through the facade surfaces, made of industrial glass, silhouettes can be seen, providing insight into how the building is used. The experimental processes conducted inside the building are characterized by dynamism, power and stability. These aspects are reflected in the appearance of this traffic engineering hall structure.
